Got a chocolate loving dad? On Father’s Day Aditi Malhotra is having a two hour chocolate making lesson at his store. Kids and their dads will make delicious chocolate lollipops, and chocolate molded into various fun shapes. You will be able to take your creations home, as well as additional treats from the shop. The Clayton Williams Memorial Garden is hosting a Father’s Day celebration this Saturday, which includes performances by the Harlem School of the Arts. Kids can also make Dad origami ties, and pose for pictures taken by a professional photographer. They will even frame the picture for you, for a suggested donation of $5. The event is from 1-4pm. The Clayton Williams Memorial Garden is located at 303 W. 126th Street at Frederick Douglas Blvd.
Taste Buds Kitchen is holding a Father’s Day Pizza Party! Kids and their dads will create their own pizza any way they like, and then chow down their delicious creations. Beverages will be provided. It costs $20 per person, and you can go Saturday at 1:30pm or Sunday at 11:30am. Taste Buds Kitchen is located at 109 West 27th Street on the 10th floor.
The New York Historical Society’s DiMenna Children’s History Museum is hosting a Father’s Day scavenger hunt. Families will get a tour of the museum and then they are off on their Dad themes hunt. Free with paid admission: $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 7-13, free for kids under 7.
